Yes, you can choose more sustainable cleaning supplies without accepting a dirtier home, but the smartest choice is rarely whichever bottle uses the most leaves on its label. A useful product must suit the cleaning job, work on the intended surface, be manageable for the people and pets in the household, and reduce waste or environmental impact in a way you can identify.
